I have a nostalgic feelings everytime I see history in the making. It is not the same celebrating abroad like it would be 'a yard".People from other countries don't understand why Jamaica tends to be so patriotic, but , I think they now understand. The performance of our ATHLETES are beyond remarkable. It is electrifying, outstanding and leaving people in total diSbelief.Jamaican atheletes were always good,top-performing, however, the dopping of other athletes have overshadowed them"not anymore, because theif will never prosper".
Usian you never fail to deliver(outstanding) ,Asafa you have had better days but still a frighter, Nesta you were always in the mines of it all
Veronica A garantee success,Shelly-Ann the impressive, Keron always so compose, sherone never fail when call upon,Melanie oh what a run and all members of the JAMAICA olympic team, respect, congratulaion in aboundance,TOGETHER AS A TEAM you have created history not only for Jamaica but the entires olympic games.the caribbean and the world at large.
You have unified Jamaicans home and abroad.I am sure all Jamaican wheather by birth, naturilization or other means are proud and will be talking about this for a long time.Black,Gold and Green will be woren by alot of people (some not JAM) but who want to show respect. To the rest of us JAMAICAN ,ONE LOVE

The Caribbean nations has provided some past Olympics under the banner of the British West Indies Federation - in the Rome Olympiad events of 1960. Both Jamaica and Barbados took home the Bronze Medal in the Mens 4x400m Relay. These Men two of which are: George Kerr of Jamaica and James (JIM) Wedderburn of Barbados. We should take this opportunity to also remember this victory of these great men. We should have pictures of all four men and have our children know of these historical achievers. Their are not in the HAll of Fame for the NOC, but we can still acknowledge them, so that these new athletes will as time go by not be forgotten and ignored years later.
